The University of Alberta’s Electrical Engineering program is one of Canada’s largest. Through technology transfer and leading edge research, we have built a solid reputation for teaching, research, and public service. Our students are exposed to all aspects of electrical engineering including microelectronics, robotics, laser, power systems, biomedical engineering, and the information technologies of wireless, satellite, optical, and computer networks. Our association with the Alberta Microelectronic Centre and Telecommunications Research Laboratories provides a vital link with industry and helps ensure the industrial relevance of our programs.
