There are 5 possible ways to complete the requirements of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. 1. Collaborative program with Algonquin College (4 years) 2. Collaborative program with La Cité Collégiale (4 years) 3. Second entry program (after completion of the compulsory 15 credits of the summer session), students complete the common requirements of 3rd and 4th year of the Bachelor. 4. Bridging program for Internationally Educated Nurse Pathway (after completion of the bridging course requirements (27 credits), students complete the common requirements of the 3rd and 4th year of the Bachelor. 5. Bridging program for Registered Practical Nurses (after completion of the bridging requirements (24 credits) students complete the common requirements of the 3rd and 4th year of the Bachelor. The French immersion stream is available with this program, at the University of Ottawa campus only. The clinical courses, practicum and placements may be held in French, English or bilingual environments. For this reason, it is essential to have oral and written comprehension of both official languages.
