Humanities |
| Degree: |
Bachelor
|
| Field of Study: |
Philosophy
|
| Description: |
Studying philosophy lets you explore and evaluate issues that touch your personal and social life, and thus to examine and assess important ideas that influence politics, morality, natural and social sciences, education, religion, languages, business, and law. Philosophical work also improves critical thinking, nurtures curiosity and offers analytic skills that apply to all disciplines and to your daily life.
The three-year program leads to a Bachelor of arts in Philosophy, with single and combined concentration or specialization. Students can take Philosophy courses to enhance their education without pursuing a degree in the discipline. Program covers subjects such as morality, critical thinking, technology, ethics and bioethics, and the philosophy of art, education, or law, among others. The program is offered in both English and French.
