Computer Science School: Bishop's University Faculty: Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division Degree: Bachelor ; Honours Field of Study: Computer Science Description: Computer science is a subject related to almost every area of study known to modern man, the arts (computer-generated art, verification of historical documents, syntax study of languages including translation), social sciences (correlating experimental data, simulation, artificial intelligence studies), natural sciences (has always had application in this area), business and government (the largest single groups of users), education (computer-aided instruction, artificial intelligence), medicine, and many more. Computer science students will explore many aspects of this dynamic field using the Computer Science Linux lab, and facilities of the Cole Computer Centre. Grade 12 Advanced Functions and Introductory Calculus or Grade 12 Geometry and Applications Grade 12 English 2 of: Grade 12 Physics or Grade 12 Biology or Grade 12 Chemistry Students must hold a Québec collegial diploma (D.E.C.). They must also have Mathematics 103 and 203, and Physics 101 and 201. Out of province students require English 12, Math 12, and two 12 sciences.
