Enhance your understanding of human society by examining the experiences of particular peoples and their societies in the past. History at UofT Scarborough reflects the belief that no aspect of today’s world – politics, culture, religions, sex relations, or race relations – is fully understandable without an appreciation of how it has developed over time. Courses are offered at all levels in the following areas and periods of history including Africa, America and the United States, Ancient Greece and Rome, Asia, Britain, Canada, Latin America, Medieval Europe, Modern Europe and Russia.
History is offered as a Specialist, Major or Minor Program.
