Human Biology School: University of Toronto - Scarborough Faculty: Biological Sciences Degree: Bachelor ; Honours Field of Study: Biology/Biological Sciences, General Description: Examine the structure and function of all living organisms, ranging from microbes to humans. Some of sub-disciplines include morphology, taxonomy, physiology, cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, evolution and ecology. The Program is designed for students with a strong interest in the Health Sciences, incorporating biology, psychology, physical sciences and social science courses with a human and health focus. Laboratory work is an integral component of the biology programs. The labs are sized to offer a small student / demonstrator ratio (maximum 20), which allows for close interaction and positive teaching and learning experiences. Human Biology is offered as a Specialist program.
