| Description: |
All University of Windsor engineering programs begin with a general first year providing students flexibility in program choice. Courses in second year include environmental engineering, chemistry, chemistry, biology, and option courses. Third and fourth year involve core environmental courses in air and water pollution control, water resources, groundwater, hydrology, risk management and site assessment, hazardous and solid waste management, industrial hygiene, and environmental regulations (Canada and U.S.), as well as a number of option courses. A fourth year capstone design project emphasizes teamwork and international competition. If a program emphasis (pre-health program, business) is not chosen students may pursue interests in other areas (e.g. history, English).
Co-op is available after first year.
