Basic engineering skills and science, as well as more specialized subjects related to modern manufacturing and production processes, are covered. Training includes computer-assisted drafting and manufacturing (CAD/ CAM), which are used widely in industry today.
Two-semester individual projects give you practical experience in designing, building and testing an original piece of equipment. The project approach simulates actual workplace assignments.
