Political Science and Government, General
Description:
The Department of Communication offers interdisciplinary training in organizational communication and media studies that keep well in step with the evolution of social needs and the development of information and communication technologies. Combining theory and practice, the department’s courses help students to both develop critical and analytical skills, and acquire professional skills and know how.
Political Science promotes an understanding of the ideas and issues that define political activity, an understanding that calls for the ability to research, analyze, and articulate ideas. Few parts of Canada have a more intensely political atmosphere than Ottawa and the School of Political Studies curriculum enables you to explore Canadian and international politics. The French immersion stream is available with this program.
