Environmental Engineering at Guelph is truly an interdisciplinary program in which both engineering and science principles are used in combination to minimize the impact of humans on the environment. Environmental engineers design waste treatment processes and systems to identify, prevent., and clean up pollution of our land, water, and air. Our graduates are recognized around the world for their skills and background in biological, chemical, and physical systems needed to tackle the environmental challenges of today and tomorrow. As an environmental engineer, you can work locally and internationally in consulting, industry, research, and municipal, provincial, and federal governments. Students choosing the Co-op program will complete their degree in five years.
