Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General
Airline/Commercial/Professional Pilot and Flight Crew
Geography
Description:
This Geography and Aviation program takes a different approach to aviation studies. Instead of looking at the industry as a business, you'll explore it from the perspective of a geographer and pilot. In your UW classes, you'll learn how to interpret weather patterns, identify land formations, read multi-layer mapes, and use a range of technical programs.
At the Waterloo-Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC) you'll attain you multi-engine, instrument and instructor rating, and you'll learn to fly. By the time you graduate, you'll have a Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree and your Commercial Pilot License.
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
