| Description: |
BPE students are agents of change; shaping behaviors and influencing who people are and how they live. Physical education provides individuals a chance to learn about (and through) movement - being active while learning about being active. You'll develop physical skills, learn about social and emotional development.
If you go with the teaching option, you'll study the benefits of active living including the basics of movement, the importance of physical literacy, sports, the human body, and individual and group activities. You'll also be introduced to a variety of teaching principles.
