The biology programs at Bishop's University provide a broad foundation in the field of biology, preparing its students for numerous options. These include graduate studies in the biological or life sciences, and professional studies in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the allied health sciences, forestry, wildlife biology, microbiology, and many other applied areas. A degree in biology also prepares the student for direct employment in the biotechnology sector, environmental biology, or the allied health fields. The Biology Major B.A. program is intended for those students who have a strong interest in biology but who lack collegial science courses or their equivalents.

Grade 12 Advanced Functions and Introductory Calculus or Grade 12 Geometry and Applications

High school applicants require Grade 12 English, Grade 12 Math, and two Grade 12 sciences. CEGEP students must have Biology 301, Chemistry 101 and 201, Mathematics 103 and 203, and Physics 101 and 201.
