| Description: |
Psychology may be defined as the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes. It is concerned with almost every aspect of our lives. Students will be exposed to a field of study that has assumed an increasingly important role in understanding and addressing social and individual problems. Psychology has developed as both a science and as a profession. Students will be introduced to the various approaches of psychology, including related theories, research, and concepts.
Psychology undergraduate students who have performed at a high level throughout their degree program have the opportunity to augment their education by attaining a Bachelor of Arts Psychology Honours designation. Please see the program web page for curriculum details.

Admission Requirements |
| Prerequisites: |
Students apply to the honours program when they have already completed some of their Psychology major degree. Completion of 90 credits towards a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.00, is required, as well as the approval and signature of a psychology faculty member willing to supervise the student.
