Description:
Gain an in-depth understanding of plant growth and crop production and the factors that affect them such as soil conditions and environmental factors. Learn about the biotechnological, breeding and production management techniques used to develop, grow and market well-adapted, high quality and high yielding crop cultivars. Develop skills that allow you to respond to economic pressures, market demands, environmental constraints and societal expectations as they relate to crop production.

Grade 12 Chemistry
Grade 12 Pure Mathematics or Grade 12 Mathematics
Also one of: Mathematics 31; Physics 30; Science 30; Social Studies 30* or 30-1*; 30-level language; Fine Arts Subject; Macroeconomics 30 and Microeconomics 30; a minimum of five credits in Career and Technology subjects at the Advanced level from one of the following strands: Agriculture, Community Health, Foods, Forestry or Wildlife.
