Mathematics goes far beyond science and engineering into medicine, business and even the social sciences. Faculty members of the Department of Mathematics have expertise in applied and pure mathematics, the topics include: Computer Security, Financial Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Biomathematics, Software Testing, Graph Theory, Fluid Mechanics, Differential Equations and Operator Theory.
