This program is intended for students who wish to acquire a thorough knowledge of studio art as part of their general education and for those who wish to prepare for work leading to graduate degrees in art. The degree requires four years (120 credit units) in the College of Arts & Science, including two years in the pre-B.F.A. program and two years in the B.F.A. program. Foundation courses are to be completed in the first and second years of the program.
