In order to understand human-environment interactions in geological, ecological, social, economic and cultural dimensions, the faculty integrates knowledge from across disciplines. Students choose from six undergraduate degrees in Geography, Physical Geography, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Geology, and Geophysics. In addition to a strong theoretical foundation, students gain practical, hands-on experience, both on and off-campus, and may include activities in places like the High Arctic, the United States, India, Indonesia, and Australia.
