Our mission is to prepare undergraduates in the diverse field of physical education who have the skills, knowledge, and experience to promote physical activity, sport, and healthy lifestyles. Graduates of VIU’s diploma program have found employment in spas, aerobics centres, summer camps, parks, fitness centres, swimming pools, and squash and racquetball clubs. The field has a broad spectrum, and opportunities for employment increase greatly for individuals who possess a university Physical Education degree.
