This program combines courses in engineering theory and practice, focusing on the design and development of various mechanical devices and equipment.
You will obtain a thorough grounding in engineering sciences and skills, including advanced computer-assisted drafting and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), as used in industry. In addition, a new course has been added to introduce the engineering technologist to Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS Software. About one-quarter of the program time is spent on project work. Projects simulate workplace assignments, relating classroom theory to the actual design, manufacture.
