Become part of innovation in the Software Engineering major. Providing a foundation in computer science concepts, this program includes hardware, theory, and applied software development. This major will focus on development and design, as well as professional standards. Students' soft skills such as communication and teamwork skills will be advanced and strengthened. You will have a unique opportunity to study courses on different aspects of software engineering including design methods, professional communications, and large software engineering projects. Students who choose the Co-op program will complete their degree in five years.
Sample careers include game programmer, multimedia developer, user interface architect, artificial intelligence researcher, systems analyst, and e-commerce specialist.
