| Description: |
The BA in Social and Cultural Anthropology is concerned with human social and cultural differentiation. Social and cultural anthropologists explore how these differences first arise through people’s migrations and their adaptation to various environments. They seek to understand how the resulting communities develop and sustain themselves through growth of social institutions, customs, rituals, shared beliefs, and patterns of symbolic communication, as well as examining how these communities interact and relate with each other.
