Human Kinetics (BSc) School: University of Ottawa/Université d'Ottawa Faculty: Faculty of Health Sciences Degree: Bachelor ; Honours Field of Study: Kinesiology and Exercise Science Description: The Honours Bachelor of Science with specialization in Human Kinetics emphasizes the biophysical factors of human kinetics and, as such, revolves around biomechanics, exercise physiology and psychomotor behaviour. At the same time, you gain an understanding of the psychosocial aspects of human movement. This program readies you for further education in rehabilitation sciences and medicine, for teaching college and for graduate studies in the biophysical sciences. Career opportunities include clinical kinesiologist, ergonomist, personal trainer, work disability consultant and small-business owner. The French immersion stream is available with this program.
