The emergence of Ontario’s Green Energy Act could create a projected 50,000 new green jobs. Students gain intergrated skill sets that will position you well for a variety of employment opportunities tied to the implantation of renewable and clean energy systems. Students will focus on clean energy (eg. Nuclear) and renewable energy sources including wind, bioenergy, hydro power, solar/photovoltaic, solar thermal, geothermal, strategies for conservation and clean energy supported by micro grids and distributed energy systems. This program is unique in introducing a multi disciplinary approach that focuses on the generation, capture, strorage, and distribution of clean and renewable energy and their integration with conventional systems
