Description:
The Specialization program is officially recognized by the Canadian Association of Schools of Translation and is accredited by l'Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ). The BA Specialization in Traduction requires an excellent knowledge of French and English. Students admitted into the program may be required to take placement tests in both languages.
Students whose native language is English should translate into English. In addition to required translation courses, students will take courses in English language and literature in order to sharpen their skills and acquire a high level of proficiency in reading and writing.
