Students intending to major in geography should pursue the Four-year or Honours program. The Three-year program in geography does not lead to a professional career in geography or entrance to a graduate program in geography. The Three-year, Four-year, and Honours degrees may be taken in various combinations for Double Honours, e.g., geography and biology, geography and archaeology, geography and history, geography and commerce. Geography has a strong interdisciplinary focus and contributes significantly to programs in Environmental Earth Sciences, International Studies, Land Use and Environmental Studies and Regional and Urban Planning. For details see the specific Interdisciplinary program. A Co-operative Education program and four minors programs in Geography may also be pursued.|
Double Honours Programs may be taken in combinations of two subjects. Please see the program webpage for curriculum details.
