Description:
The Bachelor of Commerce program provides you with a background in diverse areas of business while you study a specific area of interest in depth. You will be able to explore disciplines offered in other University of Alberta faculties through program electives. The Alberta School of Business offers a variety of undergraduate degree programs for students, including BCom, BCom Co-op, Bilingual BCom (English & French), BCom Honors and the BCom after degree.
There is no direct entry from high school into the Bachelor of Commerce program (BCom). Students must first complete a year of university in either the Faculty of Arts or the Faculty of Science and take courses in English, economics, mathematics and statistics. Admission to the BCom is competitive based on performance in the required courses and a student's overall academic record.
