From the ideas of Plato and Aristotle to the idealism of Nietzsche, Nipissing’s Philosophy degree takes a comprehensive look at life and human behaviour by considering the thoughts, trends, themes and insights that have appeared in the writings of philosophers throughout time.
The study of philosophy helps students to think clearly and abstractly, and to discuss the possibility and nature of moral standards.
