As a Social Welfare and Social Development student, you will build on social justice work that has been undertaken in such areas as poverty, women’s rights, health care, unemployment, and Aboriginal rights.
Our students secure positions with human service agencies, government, advocacy groups, and self-help groups. They also pursue further studies at the undergraduate and graduate levels in areas such as education and social work.
