Political Science School: Mount Allison University Faculty: Faculty of Social Science Degree: Bachelor Field of Study: Political Science and Government, General Description: The department offers programs leading to an honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree or a BA with a major in political science. A minor in political science can also be taken with a BA or Bachelor of Science. Mount Allison is unique because students are able to interact with professors on a one-on-one basis. Professors are able to give their time both in small classes and after class. You can choose courses in the areas of political theory, Canadian politics, comparative political systems, and international politics. We also encourage students to develop more specialized interests by taking related courses in other disciplines at Mount Allison and by considering the directed readings and special topics courses.
