Description:
If you have a relevant baccalaureate degree (Child and Youth Care, Education, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work), the Post-Degree Diploma in Interprofessional Mental Health and Addictions (IMHA) prepares you to engage in the assessment, planning, treatment, and evaluation of older teens and adults experiencing acute, persistent, and/or co-occurring mental health and addiction challenges.
IMHA is a 12 month part-time program, including a practicum component, designed for working professionals. It's offered through a combination of face to face and online delivery.
Applicants must: submit proof of a baccalaureate degree in Child and Youth Care, Education, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work from a recognized post secondary institution; or submit proof of a baccalaureate degree and a minimum 500 hours combined practicum/work/volunteer/life experience in human services.
