Requirements for Canadian Students In order to get a visa to study in Canada, students require a letter of admission and a form for Immigration Canada (CIC). Capilano University will mail you a letter of admission and immigration form upon receipt of: 1. The application form signed by the student. 2. A transcript showing graduation from high school and, if applicable, transcripts from post-secondary institutions (original, translated, and certified if necessary). 3. An application fee of $100.00. 4. A TOEFL score of 220 cbt, 560 pbt, 83 ibt, or IELTS of 6.5 with no scores under 6.0, or CAEL of 70. (Not required for ESL study).
Fax documents or photocopies will not be accepted.

There is some flexibility with these deadline dates depending upon the program of study. Please contact the International Student Centre. It is important for international students to consider the length of time it takes to get a visa to come to Canada.
