Notes for Canadian Students
Concordia's Entrance Scholarship program is designed for students entering Concordia directly from high school and guarantees a minimum $1,000.00 scholarship for students with a 75% or higher admission average. Competitive entrance scholarships worth up to $15,000.00 are also available.
The majority of scholarships and bursaries are offered to students who have completed at least one term at the University. In 2005-2006, Concordia awarded more than 325 individual awards for a total of over $308,000.00 in scholarships and bursaries to students who demonstrated academic achievement, athletic and leadership ability, and campus and community service. In addition, Concordia students qualified for $451,900.00 in awards from Alberta Scholarship programs. Each year, bursaries ranging from $150.00 to $800.00 are also awarded to Concordia students affiliated with Lutheran Church-Canada or Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
