Notes for International Students
International students in Canada on student authorizations are not eligible for government-sponsored student loans. Upon successful completion of the first year, undergraduate international students may compete for scholarships and bursaries on the basis of academic merit. Graduate international students are eligible for teaching and research assistantships. However, each department manages its own graduate student funds and determines how it will be allocated. For graduate level financial aid please contact the department directly.
