Career Planning
Career and Employment Services is your source for information on full-time, part-time, and summer employment opportunities both on and off campus. Career advisors will teach you to search online employment ads, help with resume writing and interview skills, and prepare you for recruiting interviews. The staff also organizes an annual job fair and company tours throughout the year.

Being able to access great student campus facilities is an important part of a well rounded post-secondary experience. Our goal is to establish terrific athletic facilities in order to produce outstanding student academic and athletic opportunities. Physical fitness, health, and wellness are prominent in our philosophy to provide the best of everything for our students. Participate in intramurals, take a fitness class, or try out for a varsity team. Being involved in campus athletics is a great way to meet new people and keep fit.
Activities
Within a short walk of campus grounds are the services of grocery, fast food, and eat in establishments. Movie theatres, shopping, and more are located at the Oshawa Centre in the heart of the city. Plenty of relaxation areas are located close to campus, skiing, conservation areas, parks, the beach, and rollerblading trails are all within an accessible area for students to utilize. Entertainment is plentiful throughout the city with a variety of restaurants, bars, cultural venues, and sporting facilities to satisfy every taste.

The UOIT Campus continues to expand with students' interests in mind. The University environment is welcoming and encourages student activities. Information Technology
UOIT will provide learning and teaching for the 21st century. Each student benefits from the use of a personal laptop computer and our fully networked campus. When you lease your personal laptop from the University, you get more than just a connection to faculty, students, online learning resources, and course material. You get software, training, computer support and service, and insurance. The leasing program ensures you have the latest in hardware and software specific to your program, giving you a real advantage in your professional development.
