Activities
Athletic facilities consist of a gymnasium with change rooms and showers, a cardio weight room, soccer field, baseball diamonds, and football field (facilities differ on each campus).
Clubs
An extremely active Student Council on each campus hosts exciting orientation week activities. Numerous intercollegiate and intramural sports provide opportunities for participation at all skill levels. Extracurricular events, such as Winter Carnival and Oktoberfest, encourage student involvement. Each campus boasts its own newspaper and students are encouraged to participate.
Information Technology
The three campus libraries offer computers providing access to the Internet as well as to local databases, printers, and photocopiers. Computer labs are also available on campuses. Internet hookup is available in all three campus residences; the Kingston residence also has Wi-fi, which allows students to connect to the Internet on their smartphones and tablets, including iPads.
Special Services
Accommodations for special needs may include the adjustment of the physical environment; the provision of technical devices, services, and counselling; and the possible alteration of academic delivery strategies and evaluations. All discussions with Special Needs Counsellors are confidential and early disclosure of a special need definitely enhances the student's success at St. Lawrence College. Each campus has a computer lab that is specially designed for special needs accommodation and each campus is physically accessible.
International Involvement
Applications are accepted from anywhere in the world and the College has hosted students from a number of countries. Tours may be arranged by calling the recruitment officer at any campus location.
