Notes
Bishop's guarantees residence accommodation for first year students. There are seven residences halls on campus. All residences are co-ed and they house 674 students in total. Meal plans vary from $102.00 to $3838 based on personal eating habits.

Off-campus Housing

Notes
Off-campus housing is available in Lennoxville, only a five to 15 minute walk from the campus. Prices for apartments range from $300.00 to $700.00 per month. To assist students in their search for off-campus housing, we have an online database on the Web site.

Incoming Students
Orientation: Study skills, time management, and note taking workshops. First year student residences are available. Counsellors and peer help group. Writing centre and writing proficiency program.

Notes
The Sports Centre boasts a number of athletic facilities including a swimming pool and tennis courts. There are also classes such as dance lessons and fitness classes.

Activities
The Students' Representative Council holds many recreational activities throughout the year. We throw parties for Halloween, celebrate Homecoming, and offer other opportunities for students to make the most of their time at Bishop's University.

Clubs
There are over 60 clubs and organizations available for students. They span from academic clubs and hobby/interest clubs to public service clubs. In addition, the University puts out several publications in which students may take part. They include The Campus, the University's official student newspaper, the Yearbook, the Mitre, the Handbook, and the Directory. Students may also join CJMQ, Bishop's student run radio station.

Information Technology
All students have an account giving them access to the Internet. Residence rooms are also wired for Internet access. Library catalogues are accessible online. Computer labs are available for course related or general use. Laptop rentals are also available. Academic buildings, residences, and the library all offer wireless connectivity.

Cultural
The Centennial Theatre, with a capacity of 571, plays host to the productions of the Drama Department. The music recital hall in Bandeen Hall hosts the Musique Chez Nous concert series. The Foreman Art Gallery serves as a forum for the presentation of the visual arts, as well as lecture series and films. Finally, the historic St. Mark's Chapel offers a campus Ministry, which provides pastoral services to all members of the campus community.

Special Services
Over 85 % of the campus is wheelchair accessible. Counselling services will evaluate a student's needs and will arrange assistance, as needed, e.g. note takers, remedial work, and time extensions. A daycare is located on the Bishop's campus where students and faculty have priority over community members.

International Involvement
Bishop's participates in an agreement with other Québec universities, which links over 500 institutions in the US, UK, Mexico, and France. Bishop's also has bilateral agreements with universities in several countries including Australia, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Brazil, Columbia, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Lithuania, Japan, and Spain.

Campus Tours
Campus tours are available seven days a week. All tours are on an individual basis and must be booked at least three days in advance. Please complete our online form on the Web site.

Other
Two bus circuits originating in different areas of Sherbrooke arrive and depart from the campus every 30 minutes until 11:00 p.m. There is also daily bus service to Montreal.
