Rooms are furnished and all of our residences have access to telephone and Internet services. There are several types of living arrangements available, from single and double occupancy rooms in the more traditional dormitory style of Hingston Hall and Grey Nuns Residence, to the private rooms and ensuite washrooms in the Jesuit Residence. Concordia Security is on duty 24/7 and all residence buildings are accessible only to residence staff members, occupants and their guests, creating a safe environment.

Rates do not include the cost of the mandatory meal plan. For detailed floor plans and a complete list of furnishings included visit residence.concordia.ca.

Incoming Students
Concordia's New Student Program invites all new students to participate in several orientation programs. One of the most popular orientations is Discover Concordia, designed to introduce new students to Concordia’s resources and services. For more information on the New Student Program please visit Concordia Counselling and Development online at cdev.concordia.ca.

The International Student Orientation has been especially designed for international students who are new to Concordia and Montreal. Our session will focus on issues specific to your settling in Montreal (finding an apartment, opening a bank account, etc.), your adjustment to Concordia (registration, student ID card, computer account, etc.) and will, of course, discuss cultural adaptation, an important key to your success as a student.

Cultural
Montreal is a city known worldwide for the contributions of its artists, musicians, dancers, filmmakers and creative innovators of all kinds. Concordia draws on the creativity in the city and our students produce some of the most exciting work happening in contemporary art in Canada. Every year students in the Faculty of Fine Arts organize, curate and show their work at Art Matters, the largest student-run art festival in Canada.
Over the last two years, brand-new facilities have opened for our music and dance departments, as well as major renovations to the D.B. Clarke, one of the principal performing-arts venues in the Faculty of Fine Arts. In addition to the many practice and performance spaces, there are three galleries on campus that showcase the talents of the Concordia community and bring important works by international professional artists to Concordia for all to enjoy.
