On-campus Housing

Notes
Ryerson has three on-campus co-ed residences with a total of 840 rooms, most of which are private. All residences are smoke free and very easy to access campus resources. Meal plans are available to all residents. International students are given special consideration for residence spaces.

Off-campus Housing

Notes
Student housing services assists Ryerson students in finding suitable off-campus accommodations through the listing service and the off-campus Web site. The listing service provides a posting of rental accommodations. The off-campus Web site contains the Ryerson listings of various Toronto area accommodations.

Incoming Students
At Ryerson, helping you achieve your academic, career, and personal goals is the motivation behind everything we do. From our Access Centre for Students with Disabilities to our comprehensive health services, to our Mentoring and Career Resource Centre, we offer all the support you'll need to succeed.

Career Planning
The Centre for Student Development and Counselling provides individual career counselling to Ryerson students.

Notes
The Department of Athletics and Recreation administers the Recreation and Athletics Centre (RAC) and varsity athletics. RAC's facilities include a large supervised fitness centre, six gymnasiums, six international squash courts, three studios, a golf cage, a traverse climbing wall, an indoor running track, a 25 yard pool, saunas, and several change rooms.

Clubs
There are many student clubs and associations to join. Please see campus groups and student groups available on our Web site.

Information Technology
About 1,400 computers are available on campus for general student use. A campus wide network can be accessed from student residence rooms and from off-campus.

Cultural
The cultural diversity of Ryerson's student population is represented and reflected in the variety of cultural student groups and clubs on campus including Ryerson African and Caribbean Association, Ahmadiyya Muslim Students at Ryerson, Arab Students' Association, Armenian Students' Association, Bangladeshi Students' Association, Chinese Students' Association, Filipino Students' Association, Hellenic Student Association, Hillel: Jewish Students' Association, Indo-Canadian Students, Indonesian Students' Association, Ismaili Students' Association, Ryerson Korean Students' Association, Latin American Students' Association, Macedonian Students' Association, Muslim Students' Association, Pakistani Students' Association, Polish Students' Association, Russian Students' Association, Sikh Students' Association, Taiwanese Students' Association, Tamil Students' Association, and Vietnamese Students' Association.

Special Services
Ryerson is committed to helping international students adjust to their new life in Toronto and at Ryerson. International Services for Students offers an orientation program, peer support program, a full-time student advisor, and regular social activities.

International Involvement
Through the Office of International Affairs, Ryerson offers its students numerous opportunities to obtain an educational experience abroad through study, work, volunteer, and educational travel.

Campus Tours
General campus tours are available Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. Ryerson also offers Tour and Discussion Days, which offer an opportunity to tour the campus, meet professors and current students, and tour departments, studios, and labs.
