All residences are approximately a 2-minute walk from the main academic buildings, and comprise of single or shared rooms in both townhouse and suite style accommodations. Each unit is self-contained, fully furnished, and can house four to six students. Accessible accommodations are available for students with accessibility needs. Cost includes utilities - heat, electricity and water. Optional declining balance meal plans, weekly grocery van service, and healthy eating seminars are available.

Get Started - A one day academic orientation event created to help incoming students transition to university life.
Summer Learning Institutes - Workshops designed to help first year students improve their skills in university level research, writing, presenting, as well as Mathematics preparedness and English language development.
New Student Orientation - Informal and fun events held in the first week of September provide students the opportunity to interact with one another, meet faculty and discover all that UTSC has to offer.

Varsity programs are run out of the St. George Campus, however, all U of T students are eligible to play. The exception is Men's Varsity Baseball which is played at the U of T Scarborough campus.
U of T Scarborough also offers a variety of fitness and instructional programs such as yoga, pilates, karate, cyclefit, personal training, etc.

The campus has over 500 computer workstations for student and teaching use. These workstations are clustered mainly in the IITS labs in the Bladen Wing, with others in the Informatics Commons. Still others are in several small departmental computing labs. A wireless network allows students to use their own laptop to access the Internet in specific places on the U of T Scarborough campus, outside of computing labs.
The mandate of Cultural Affairs is to foster artistic and cultural activity, with the goal of enriching the life of all at U of T Scarborough beyond academics. Cultural Affairs presents an annual season of plays, concerts, readings, and special events for staff, faculty, students and the surrounding community.
AccessAbility Services ensures policies, practices, procedures, and programs at U of T Scarborough are inclusive to students with disabilities. The office provides services and academic accommodations to students who have a documented learning, physical, sensory, mental health disability, or medical condition. Some examples of services include note taking, mobility assistance, and alternate exam arrangements.
U of T Scarborough offers joint programs in collaboration with Centennial College.
U of T Scarborough students have the opportunity to earn a portion of their degree on Student Exchange or Study Abroad programs in over 40 countries around the world.
