The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is both an accredited Canadian university and a comprehensive community college. UFV is located in the beautiful Fraser Valley region of British Columbia, approximately one hour from the city of Vancouver. With three modern campuses, 12 bachelor’s degree programs, one master's degree program, over 80 one year certificates and two year diploma programs, University Foundation, and a comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program, UFV offers students a wide variety of academic and career options.
Many of the two year programs lead into degree programs offering students the flexibility of finishing first a diploma and then completing a degree either immediately or at a later date. The strong Cooperative (Co-op) Education program offers students in several disciplines the option of completing a diploma or degree that incorporates paid work experience in their fields. |

UFV offers a Bachelor of Business Administration in Aviation degree, the first of its kind in Canada. Other popular program areas include business administration, computer information systems, and criminal justice. In addition to its programs, UFV is known for its commitment to student success through excellence in teaching and the delivery of all programs by friendly personable instructors in small classes.
The Co-op Education program is designed to enhance future job prospects for students by formally integrating full-time study terms with full-time paid study related work terms. Students earn their academic credentials and gain years of valuable work experience by the time they have completed their programs. |
