Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Training (ITAL) is one of three ITALs in Ontario and is a member of the Association of Canadian Polytechnic Institutes. Conestoga offers programs leading to certificates, diplomas and degrees. Main academic areas include business, health sciences, engineering technology, information technology, skilled trades, media studies, community services and liberal studies.
Based in Kitchener (120 kilometres west of Toronto), Conestoga serves this diverse mid-western Ontario region, an area that combines larger cities and small towns, strong manufacturing industries and traditional agricultural production. This region is also known as Canada's technology triangle because of its concentration of advanced technology, research and development industries, manufacturing industries and institutions of higher education.
