Concordia University offers more than 500 programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels across four Faculties: Arts and Science, Engineering and Computer Science, Fine Arts, and the John Molson School of Business. As a large comprehensive university Concordia allows you to develop your interests in focused learning environments while having a large selection of classes and flexibility with your schedule.
Located in the unique city of Montreal, Canada - Concordia is an English-language university in a French-speaking city. Though the official language of Montreal is French, many Montrealers are bilingual in both English and French. Montreal is an eclectic city that brings together people of different languages, experiences and worldviews. Concordia is reflective of this connected global community; 11 percent of the university’s student population is international, with students from more than 150 countries.
We are constantly developing our two campuses to maintain innovative learning facilities. With the help of over $80 million in Knowledge Infrastructure Program funding, Concordia has built three state-of-the-art research facilities. The Solar Simulator Environmental Chamber Lab, the PERFORM Centre (Prevention, Evaluation, Rehabilitation and FORMation/training) and the Centre for Structural and Functional Genomics. Together these three centres help move Concordia to the forefront of research and innovation and propel us towards our goal of becoming one of the top five comprehensive universities in Canada.

An excellent example of how we ensure the success of our International students is the Intensive English program offered by our Centre for Extended Education. This program is designed to prepare students for English language universities. Students who obtain the minimum grade in the Advanced 2 level who wish to enroll in full-time credited studies at Concordia University will automatically meet the University’s English language proficiency requirements for admission.
