Nipissing University is a young, progressive university offering undergraduate degree programs in the arts, business, computer science, education, environmental science, science and social sciences. Nipissing University does not offer graduate degree programs. Nipissing University received its provincial charter in 1992 after almost 30 years of affiliation with another university.
Nipissing University shares a 350-hectare campus with Canadore College of Applied Arts and Technology. This unique partnership has led to a number of joint degree/diploma programs and shared facilities and resources.
Located in North Bay, ON, the natural setting of the campus features a small lake, walking trails and cross-country ski trails. North Bay is a small Canadian city, pop. 56,000 located approx. 350 km north of Toronto. Smaller classes encourage students to participate, to question freely and to get assistance from their professors. |
