Our goal is to prepare teacher candidates to become highly effective and skilled professional teachers who continue to learn and develop their expertise through inquiry and reflective practice. Utilizing a strong research base, a focus on the learner, close connections with field partners and a commitment to modeling responsive, innovative teaching practice, the programs are designed to help teacher candidates construct professional knowledge and develop deep understanding of teaching and learning for the diverse needs of our communities.
