History provides context for present day events. You'll develop critical thinking and analytical skills together with research, written and oral communication skills that enhance your abilities to evaluate and discuss past and present events. Analytical skills are critical in all employment areas.
The School of Arts and Science offers a range of courses transferable to one or more of BC’s universities. With university–level academic courses offered in a wide range of areas, you’ll be able to complete up to two years of your subsequent university program at Camosun; the University Transfer courses can also lead you to an Associate Degree.
