This two-year program prepares you to earn a living as an accountant. Students study accounting procedures and theory, auditing, taxation, law, information systems, and management. The program features a practical tie-in to industry and computer technology.
Students learn hands-on computer skills with Access, Excel, Simply Accounting, and ACCPAC Plus and can access the Humber Accounting Centre and WebCT for assistance outside of the classroom. As well, qualified graduates may be eligible to apply their academic credits toward further study at many post-secondary institutions or complete the designation to be a certified general accountant (CGA).

Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U). If English is not your first language, refer to the English Language Proficiency Policy in this publication • Grade 12 Mathematics (MAP4C, MCT4C, MDM4U, MCB4U, MGA4U, MCV4U or MHF4U) • Two Grade 11 or Grade 12 C, U or M courses in addition to those listed above • Applicants who do not possess the required courses may complete admission testing to determine equivalencies.
