Description: In just 15 weeks - one semester - you can have the specialized knowledge and skills required to work in the public safety/emergency services field. Humber's program is designed in consultation with - and is supported by - police, fire, and ambulance services. Courses are presented by faculty recognized for their experience and excellence in their particular discipline/field of expertise. The curriculum includes call management, orientation to pre-hospital care, professional issues, equipment and operations, emergency systems management, crisis/stress management, and documentation skills.
