If you're driven to make a difference in the world, consider international development. International Development Studies (IDS) will prepare you to foster greater understanding between developed and underdeveloped countries through study, research and cross-cultural learning. You'll draw from a wide range of subjects during your studies - biology, religion, economics, languages, political science, sociology and social anthropology. Most students enter the program in the second year of university. You'll also have many opportunities to experience the world through a study-abroad program in third or fourth year.
