Women’s studies is a dynamic and rapidly expanding area of study that examines history, social structure, the sciences, language, literature and culture from new perspectives. You will also gain a perspective on women’s experiences by examining such issues as race, class and cultural differences that are central to the study of gender.
Most classes are offered in conjunction with other departments in the social sciences and humanities with emphasis on women’s issues. This degree is available as a three- or four-year program.
